Big thank you for doing so. Since there is absolutely positivily no information on this page beyond "This is about openId development!" I do feel compelled to point out that: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mu-open-id/ is a working (mostly, anyway) OpenID server for WPMU (Works for about 80% of the OpenID-enabled sites I've tried to login on). It is really excellent if this project could add CLIENT support. Two WPMU-server enabled sites make it useless for both of them (as in users at site A can't login at B, nor can B login at A). Making it possible to - for example - login using OpenID when you want to comment etc. would be nice (and also invite spam, but those issues and that story is a completely different discussion)
