This plugin allows you to send a mass email to your users. Originally authored by Inviz. His site sadly seems to be unavailable now. This plugin incorporates some fixes posted on the WPMU Forums by Quenting and removes "spam" from being displayed. Additionally, stripslashes() has been added to clean up the message. A call to the_quicktags() was commented out because it wasn't working on my site, so uncomment it if you want to use it (line 159). Once installed, you can access it by going to Write -> Write Email. Your users will also be able to opt out of receiving emails by going to Users -> Your Profile.

Works well, however the From address in the email is, well, large, for example.

I'm using it with mu 1.0 but it doesn't work. It seems that everything is OK after send the email (I get a message telling me that the process is successfull) but nobody receive any mail. Is it necessary to configure anything in the mu-massmailer.php file?

ok, i got it to work on the second try. but it spammed my host so badly that i've been blocked for the next hour or so.

I have a version with some bug fixed.... Fixed: header encoding Improved: From field default value If anyone want or know the owner e-mail so i can send him the file plea se inform

Yeah - it'd be great to fix that 'from' address issue it'll help stop emails going into people's junk folders can you post the bug fix please codedmind ? Thanks
